In general there are photographs of many diverse beetle groups,
and especially jewel beetles (Buprestidae), available, however,
examples of other insect orders, as well as miscellaneous plants,
animals and places, including western North America, Mexico, southern
Africa and Australia, are available in the photography library.
Our photographs have been featured in a number of our scientific
publications, including the books An Inordinate Fondness
for Beetles and the new second volume of American Beetles
(see Beetle Books), and several of these
images have been used in the most recent release of Microsoft's
Encarta.
